Addisons Accountants is a young dynamic accounting practice totally committed to identifying the needs of our clients and developing solutions to solve those needs. We find that on many occasions our clients are unaware of problems or the improvement potential within their businesses and as a result our role is as much pro active as it is reactive.

The accounting profession has traditionally focused on the production of historical reports to satisfy the Australian Taxation Office and reporting requirements of other Government organisations. Unfortunately this type of compliance work has produced information that doesn't add value to the many small businesses in our community.

While the completion of tax returns and "statutory accounts" remains a core part of our business, we see this work as merely a starting point in our role as accountants and business advisers. We have come to realise that just as our clients are interesting and diverse, with differing needs, we have needed to develop a range of tailored service levels to meet those needs.

Regardless of whether you need us to become involved in the strategy and development of your business or merely produce the information to satisfy your compliance requirements, we have the ability and resources available.

Our business developed from a "grass roots" consulting practice by assisting small business in the selection, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems. This remains a full service today through Addisons Productivity Solutions and all our clients run excellent systems which are well supported.

Today in Australia taxation is very complex and seems to be constantly changing as indicated by the fact that several elections have been won or lost over taxation issues. We are committed to remaining up to date with these changes to identify problems and opportunities that may arise for our clients.
